I rang in the New Year by photographing a two-night event in Kilgore, Texas, on December 30 and December 31, 2023. The Celebration of Gospel at Faith Tabernacle on December 31 featured gospel performers, including The Williams Singers, George Dean and the Gospel 4, Willie Neal Johnson’s New Keynotes, and Wendell Huckaby Jr. The sponsorship gala held December 30 at the Texan Theatre included an award presentation and a performance by The Gospel Legends.
